OUR DAY SERVICES

Offering rewarding and purposeful activities for adults with additional support needs

What should participants expect?

Our Day Opportunities offer rewarding and purposeful activities for adults with additional support needs. Within a gentle and supportive work-ethic, our activities revolve around horticulture, conservation and grounds maintenance – where you can learn new skills and bring your skills to good use for the Community Organisations that host us. Our activities are underpinned by a mindful experience of nature, allowing and supporting people to observe nature and the seasonal changes taking place.

The Day Service has a cost of £65 per day (including support, refreshment, respite facilities and some possibility of transport), and this can be privately or referral funded.

OUR LOCATIONS

FLOURISH AT THE FARM

Farming With Nature

We look after plants and the landscape at St Giles Farm. There are beautiful views to enjoy and lovely walks too. We create a range of habitats to encourage all types of bugs and beasts which are all beneficial for biodiversity.

There is the opportunity to take part in looking after horses, cows and sheep for those who wish to.

We work in partnership with St Giles Community Farm, which is located in Godshill, near Fordingbridge.

FLOURISH AT AVON TYRRELL

People and Nature

We help tend the gardens for a local charity near Bransgore. There’s lots of tidying of roads and pathways to make the landscape beautiful for all the visitors that come to camp and do activities.

We grow vegetables and grow flowers to give butterflies and insects food and somewhere to live.

We work in partnership with UK Youth Outdoor Activity Centre at Avon Tyrrell, near Bransgore
